FBRI University of Idaho – Graduate Fellowship Program

The FBRI Graduate Fellowship began in fall of 2017 at the College of Natural Resources, University of Idaho, in Moscow, Idaho. This is a fully-funded FBRI commitment to begin bringing forward forestry research professionals well versed in a broader understanding of individual tree dynamics,  silvicultural quantitative effects, and nonparametric approaches to site, taper and growth models.

The mission of FBRI is not only to provide state-of-the-art technology in forestry methods and tools, but also to assist in ongoing education of the working forestry professional.  The goal is stronger professionals with stronger tool sets.  This leads directly to better informed decision-making within each organization.
